Name Of The Prime Project: The Mechanical Engineering Cell
Introduction: The Mechanical Engineering Cell was an idea that came on the mind of the mechanical engineering's head of department in Ariel University Center, prof. Zvi Shiller. It was based on the ASME organization and its HPV contest.
Details: The cell was created by 3 students. Me, Jonathan Terner and Eran Sason, in Eran's house during Pesach vecation. The cell main idea was to be the head of the Mechanical Engineering students.
The first meeting of the group was on May 2005, when we first created a presentation about the group and its purpose in front of about 40 students.
Officially, we were 3 chairmans of the group and my duty was to manage all the computing staff, like Internet website and Solidworks group, and advertising manager. In actual fact, I was the prime manager of the group, after the other two chirmans leave it.
The site I created was built on the college server, and included all the meetings summeries, a system of engineering books for students studies, a forum and much more. I also did a teaching lesson on SolidWorks infront of 20 students. I also created own book on programming.
The Mechanical Engineering Cell was actually never been dismantled, but as I know, it stoped operate since I quitted. the site is still running on: http://www.ariel.ac.il/me/asme/index2.html |

Name Of The Prime Project: The Ariel Students Organization Sets Of Rules
Introduction: On May 2006, during my duty as the head of the mechanical engineering group. I've got a request from the Ariel Students Organization to be the head of its Audit Committee for management and as an adviser.
Details: The main task of my duty was to build a formal set of rules to the organization. It took 6 monthes to create one, and we've got the good governance certificate. I also published a quarter report.

Name Of The Prime Project: The Reorganize Program
Introduction: On Novermeber 2006 I was elected to be the head of students organization council and a member in the management group of the students organization. My duty in the organization was to manage the council members on their duties.
Details: After be as a member on the management group and as the former head of the audit committee for managment. I created after 1 year the reorganize program for the student organization, which its base was used in the next elected council. |

Name Of The Prime Project: Robotray (With Eng. Lilia Shomron)
Introduction: The project was developed with Eng. Lilia Shomron as the final project for getting the B.Sc degree.
Details The main developing issue of the project was to create an automatic robot for serving food to an hospital patient that can't do it on his own. The robot is based on 2 electronic - motor used- - degrees of freedom (rotating and forward-back) and one manually (up-down). The robot we developed was an idea that we suggested after consultation with the main engineer at Rabin Medical Center. we also develop. draw and manufactured the prototype which been displayed on july 2007 at Ariel Univercity Center infront of students and the main engineer at Rabin Medical Center. |

Name Of The Prime Project: Hebrew WikiPedia Editor
Introduction: Since April 2009, I'm being a part of the hebrew wikipedia's editors, and add some of my knowledge, specially on WW2 history & engineering staff.
Details On the heberew WikiPedia site I add new entries such as: Vibrations, Milling machine, Engineering design process, Wolfsschanze and more. |
